Tennis Centers
BREC’s Tennis Department manages five major tennis centers, each housing its own pro shop that offers tennis resale merchandise, equipment rentals, refreshments and a staff that manages court reservations and fees. The tennis centers provide various programs to the community, including tennis instruction, school athletic programs, youth and adult league play and tournaments. Facilities are available for rental to organizations for tournaments, workshops and high school league practice. There are also 72 neighborhood tennis courts located at recreation centers throughout East Baton Rouge Parish where patrons can play tennis at no charge.

Sunday / 1-5 p.m. (Jan. 1-March 12) + 5-9 p.m. (March 16-Aug. 27)
Court Fees:
$5 per hour before 6 p.m. / $8 per hour after 6 p.m. $12 per hour for indoor courts at Independence Community Park Tennis Courts
