   HERO APPRECIATION DAY
BREC shows their appreciation for first responders and military with Hero Day! All Military, Local EBR Police/Sheriff, Firefighters and EMTs will receive FREE admission (with proper ID).

WORLD’S LARGEST SWIM LESSON
The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson, created by the World Waterpark Association in 2010, is a global public relations event supported by Aquatic Facilities. The WLSL event serves as a platform to help the global aquatics industry work together to build awareness about the fundamental importance of teaching children to swim to prevent drowning. Swimming
is a life-saving skill for children and a vital tool to prevent drowning, the second leading cause of unintended, injury- related death for U.S. children ages 1-14.

FLOWRIDER FLOW TOUR
The FLOW (Flowboarding League of the World) Tour is
a FlowRider, Inc.-sponsored, sanctioned and operated international flow-boarding tour that features the world’s
best riders year after year. Tours and events are held in Asia, Europe, Canada and the USA. Top Pros will battle throughout the season in efforts to represent Team USA and earn a free round-trip airfare and seeded slot into the World Flowboarding Championships. In addition, local competitors will be showcasing their skills and taking home some epic prizes.

Do you have what it takes to sail across the pool? This whacky event uses your creativity and imagination to build a boat made of corrugated cardboard. A complete list of rules will
be available upon registration. There are two age groups 5-12 and 13+; guardians are encouraged to help.

SENIOR DAY
National Senior Citizens Day recognizes contributions senior citizens make in communities across the city of Baton Rouge. BREC would like to recognize them by rewarding them with private swim time.

END OF SUMMER DOG POOL PAWTY
Please join us for the End of Summer Pool Pawty at Liberty Lagoon. Please be advised that this is a dog-friendly event. Participants will encounter dogs in various conditions (i.e. wet, unleashed, etc.) For the safety of everyone and every dog, all participants must comply with the “Pool Pawty” rules that can be found at LibertyLagoon.com.
