Our campers have the exciting opportunity to produce a full-scaled musical in just two weeks! In this special program, campers learn theatre skills and gain acting experience through hands-on participation in the production process. Each session will lead its participants through auditioning, choreography staging, and music vocal rehearsals all leading up to the opening night of their BIG SHOW! Parents, family and friends are invited to the see show on the last day of camp.
SESSION 1: WE ARE MONSTERS / Ages: 7-10
We Are Monsters is a hilarious new musical that follows human kids into a monster cabaret filled with quirky monster characters. The adventurous humans uncover vegetarian vampires and rock n’ roll werewolves, gradually realizing there may be more to these monsters than meets the eye! Most importantly these monsters and kids discover the importance of friendship and celebrating in the attributes that make each of us different and unique.
Week One: June 1-5
Week Two: June 8-12 Performance: June 12 at 6:30 p.m.
SESSION 2: SEUSSICAL JR. / Ages: 11-16
Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat and all of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters spring to life onstage in Seussical JR., a fantastical musical.
Week One: June 15-19
Week Two: June 22-26 Performance: June 26 at 6:30 p.m.
Every young actor’s chance to be a star! In this special pro- gram, campers learn theatre skills and gain acting experience through hands-on participation in the production process. Campers in this camp will experience the entire play produc- tion process, from auditioning, character development, stag- ing, and line memorization all leading up to the opening night of their BIG SHOW! Parents, family and friends are invited to the see the show on the last day of camp. On with the show!

STORIES UNDER THE BIG TOP / Ages: 7-10 Come one! Come all! Step right up! Watch the greatest stories on Earth come alive under the big top! It’s a circus full of laughter and lively storytelling as the ringmaster and players perform a variety of well-known tales such as “The Bremen Town Musicians,” “The Billy Goats Gruff,” “The Lion and the Mouse,” “Monkey See, Monkey Do” and “The Magic Fish.”
Week One: July 6-10
Week Two: July 13-17 Performance: July 17 at 6:30 p.m.
SESSION 2: THE ABDUCTION OF
MOTHER GOOSE / Ages: 11-16
Are you totally over stories of damsels in distress, princesses locked in towers and fair maidens who all await some Prince Charming (allegedly) to swing in and save them? Well, so
are Mandi and Nicki and they totally have a plan. They are taking their frustrations right to the source, right to Mother Goose herself! It's time for the princess to save the day, time for Rapunzel to grab a gal pal and head to the salon for a girl’s day out! Gone are the days of waiting on boys...it's GIRL POWER all the way! The plan is simple: Get Mother Goose and force her to rewrite fairytale history to HERstory! It is time for the Abduction of Mother Goose!
